NGK Donates ATV for Children’s Charities at Texas Motor Speedway

Wixom, MI... NGK Spark Plugs (U.S.A.), Inc. donated an Arctic Cat ATV 500 to the Texas Motor Speedway’s Children’s Charities fundraiser held on Saturday, November 3, 2007. The ATV was featured in the charity auction and sold to the highest bidder, Annalisa Partanen for $5,500. This was the highest bid of any auctioned item for the event. Annalisa noted that she and her husband attend all of the Speedway’s charity auctions, and they regard the charity as a good and worthwhile cause.

A second Arctic Cat ATV 500, also donated by NGK, was given away to a lucky race fan. NGK ran a yearlong sweepstakes at the Speedway and the winner’s name was drawn before the start of the Nextel Cup Series Dickies 500 on Sunday, November 4, 2007. Jason Huddleston submitted the winning entry on Saturday, November 3, 2007, before the start of the Busch Series O’Reilly 300 Challenge.
